New York 2014 (Goodwill Games I)The orginal Goodwill Games were set up by Ted Turner after the Olympic boycotts of 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games. They ran until 2001 which was the very last. The Goodwill Games are returning to the world under the guise of the International Goodwill Games Committee and one Joey Wild New York City was awarded the first Games of the Goodwill 2.0 Era and they will commence on July 28, 2014 and run until August 15, 2014.
