Match Background: This will be a submission bout.
The Match: Charlie Haas snap suplexes TJ Perkins. Haas drives a thrust kick into the chest of TJ Perkins. A Gut buster connects on TJ Perkins and hits hard. Charlie Haas gets taken down out of nowhere! Haas takes a quick lariat. Charlie Haas comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Tiger bomb by Charlie Haas, which is nowhere near as cool as a botched Pedigree but gets the job done. Wicked suplex out of the corner from Charlie Haas, is executed so well, it hurt MY back. Charlie Haas misses a clothesline. TJ Perkins kicks the leg, knocks Haas down, and goes to work on it. Charlie Haas elbows TJ Perkins in the face to break a hammerlock. TJ Perkins gets caught with a short powerbomb from Haas. Shelton Benjamin comes running down the aisle with a chair! Haas goes to irish whip TJ Perkins into the ropes. Shelton hits TJ Perkins with a chair to the back! Charlie Haas has TJ Perkins down...and locks in the Haas Of Pain for the submission victory! Charlie Haas, having taken the victory thanks to the outside interference of Shelton Benjamin, goes over and shakes hands with him, showing that their plan was a success.
My Opinion: These guys worked SO HARD...for a ** rating. Something went wrong somewhere, didn't it?

My Opinion: I'll give this a ***1\4 rating. If I left it up to you, you'd probably think it was the greatest match ever! Keep trying...

The Match: Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Kevin Steen ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Kevin Steen pulls Richards onto the table for a powerbomb, but he uses a backdrop to get out of the predicament. STIFF~! chop lights up Richards who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! Big dropkick by Kevin Steen, who got a ton of air on the move. Davey Richards once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Spinning back kick from Davey Richards. BRAINBUSTAH~! by Davey Richards! Steen flips out of a Davey Richards bodyslam attempt. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Kevin Steen connects and Davey Richards is down! Steen climbs onto the table with Davey Richards and scores with a piledriver to destroy the table and get the victory. I don't think the fight has finished. Kevin Steen and Richards have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view.

Mike Bennett goes nuts, screaming and yelling at everyone within earshot.
My Opinion: I'll give a 3/4 star rating, but only if you promise to improve as a booker.

Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. M. Briscoe takes a NICE hurrancarana from Kenny King. K. King tags out to Rhett Titus. All-Night Express whip M. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Michael Elgin pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Elgin hits a piledriver on Shelton Benjamin. That used to end matches, you know. Power drive elbow by Jay Lethal. That sounds like a feature on a 4 x 4, doesn't it. Michael Elgin gets knocked to the ground by Lethal, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Diving Elbow Drop!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over.
My Opinion: Usually, this is designated for good matches that were usually way too short for some reason. What's your excuse? *3/4

Flying shoulder tackle by Rhino sends Finlay CRASHING to the mat. Finlay comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Face-first suplex onto a trash can by Finlay! Full nelson slam on Rhino. There's a two count on the pin. Rhino backdrops Finlay out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Rhino. Full nelson slam on Finlay. There's a two count on the pin. High Angle DDT by Rhino just SPIKES Finlay down! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Finlay blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Rhino gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Rhino blocks a kick from Finlay. Bodyslam by Rhino. Finlay is in trouble. Gore! 1....2....3. Rhino gives a murderous look toward Finlay...and attacks! Finlay gets dropped to the canvas, then battered with a barrage of rights and lefts. Rhino leaves the ring having left Finlay down and out.
My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.
Kevin Steen vs El Generico.
Match Background: This will be a ladder bout. This match is for the ROH World title.
The Match: El Generico with a whip into the ladder. Super kick by El Generico. Steen counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Generico hits a face jam on Kevin Steen onto the ladder! Steen blocks a kick from El Generico. Running knee lift from Kevin Steen. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Kevin Steen just KILLS El Generico! El Generico is in trouble. Here it comes - F-Cinq. Kevin Steen goes up ladder and grabs the prize for the win. Tyler Black comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Tyler Black spins Steen around. Tyler Black hits the Blackout! Kevin Steen has been left down on the canvas.
My Opinion: I'm capable of giving out high star ratings...but only for matches that really deserve it. This one didn't. **1/4.

King crushes Titus with a running senton. Covers for a quick two count. Tiger suplex on Titus. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, dammit. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Rhett Titus elbows Kenny King in the face to break a hammerlock. K. King takes a back suplex. Kenny King elbows Rhett Titus in the face to break a hammerlock. Hard back suplex on Titus. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Rhett Titus is in trouble. Here it comes - Coronation. 1....2...3, it's finished. Kenny King slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. Briscoe. Tag to Mark Briscoe. Flying shoulder tackle by M. Briscoe sends M. Jackson CRASHING to the mat. Mark Briscoe with a spinning neckbreaker on M. Jackson. Matt Jackson is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Flying elbow from Matt Jackson connects. M. Jackson tags out to Nick Jackson. Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and M. Briscoe goes down. Nick Jackson hits a rolling kick on M. Briscoe. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Mark Briscoe pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Tag to Jay Briscoe. Brutal sit out powerbomb on N. Jackson! The Match: Cole is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. Cole takes a headbutt from Mike Knox. Bodyslam by Knox. Adam Cole charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Cole backdrops Mike Knox out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Adam Cole. Stun Gun from Adam Cole! I still can't believe that was Austin's finisher at one point. Adam Cole hits a stalling suplex on Knox. Hooks the leg for a two count. Knox ducks a wild right hand. Cole walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. There's a two count on the pin. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Mike Knox just KILLS Adam Cole! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Mike Knox misses a clothesline. Adam Cole connects with a HARD right hand, sending the opponent down to the mat again. Adam Cole misses a clothesline. Running knee lift from Mike Knox. Rhino comes running down the aisle with a chair! Knox and Adam Cole continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Rhino slides in and blasts Adam Cole with a chair to the head! Rhino climbs out of the ring, the damage done! Adam Cole is in trouble. Knox Out! 1....2....3. Knox and Rhino tie Adam Cole up in the ropes, then start punching away at him until referees run down and break it up.
My Opinion: *1/4 rating. Don't be upset. There are people in third world countries who can barely afford one star, let alone one and a quarter.

My Opinion: The psychology was sound, the work was crisp, but a few awkward moments drag it down to about ****1\2.

Shelton is down! M. Briscoe tags out to Jay Briscoe. The Briscoe Brothers whip Shelton into the corner. Mark Briscoe whips Jay Briscoe in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Shelton counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Tag to Charlie Haas. A Gut buster connects on J. The Match: Back suplex on Rhino. Rhino powers out of a Adam Cole headlock. Rhino slams Adam Cole. Death valley driver by Rhino! No one executes that move properly anymore. Rhino walks into a drop toe hold. Cole uses a table as a ram on Rhino. Reverse DDT on Rhino. The referee counts: 2....3...4....but Rhino stands up. Adam Cole brings out a jumping powerbomb to nearly murder Rhino in the ring! Rhino counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Cole eats a trash can, but not the contents in it, obviously. The referee is counting: 7....8....Adam Cole is back up. Rhino charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Adam Cole sets Rhino up in the corner. Panama's Sunrise!!! The referee counts to 10, this match is over! Kyle O'Reilly comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Kyle O'Reilly puts Rhino in the corner. Kyle O'Reilly sets up, and hits a Tornado DDT! Rhino has been left down on the canvas.
My Opinion: *1\2 rating. Hey, you wanted to make it harder on yourself, right?
Jon Moxley vs Matt Jackson.
Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout.
The Match: M. Jackson gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Running knee lift from Jon Moxley. There's a two count on the pin. M. Jackson kicks Jon Moxley in the gut to reverse the momentum. M. Jackson uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Matt Jackson kicks the leg, knocks Moxley down, and goes to work on it. Flying trash can shot from the top rope! Jon Moxley once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Moxley hits a piledriver on Matt Jackson. That used to end matches, you know. Jon Moxley moves in for the kill. Midnight Special!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Matt Jackson leaves and walks back down the aisle. Wait...Jon Moxley comes running as well, and M. Jackson gets dropped with a clothesline, followed by a load of stomps. He is left lying in the aisle.

Tyler Black vs Roderick Strong.
Match Background: None.
The Match: Black takes a back suplex. R. Strong scoops and slams Tyler Black. What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? Big dropkick by Roderick Strong, who got a ton of air on the move. Big dropkick by Roderick Strong, who got a ton of air on the move. Black powers out of a headlock. Hard back suplex on R. Strong. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Spinning bulldog in the corner and R. Strong is down! Covers for a quick two count. R. Strong counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Black takes a quick lariat. Hooks the leg for a two count. Northern Lights Bomb very nearly crushes the spine of Black! Pin, but Black is out just before the three count. Black reverses a waistlock. Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and R. Strong goes down. Roderick Strong is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Black gets caught with a short powerbomb from R. Strong. Kevin Steen comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Black turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by Steen! Kevin Steen has left Black in big trouble. Tyler Black is in trouble. Here it comes - Gibson Driver. 1....2...3, it's finished. R. Strong \ Steen are beating down on Tyler Black! The music of El Generico hits, and he comes running down the aisle into the ring. R. Strong and Steen bail out of the ring, leaving Tyler Black down in the ring. El Generico may have saved Tyler Black from a brutal beating.
My Opinion: Some blown spots really drag this match down a notch, so its ***1\2 for you.

Futureshock vs Mike Knox and Rhino.
Match Background: Cole and Rhino have been feuding recently. Rhino has yet to get an in-ring victory in this feud. Adam Cole is the reigning ROH Television champion, and has been since 01 September 2012.
The Match: Knox takes a back suplex. Knox tastes a high angle back suplex. If Spike Lee can sue TNN over the Spike TV nonsense, then Kurt Angle should be able to sue SOMEONE for that. Covers for a quick two count. Cole goes for a splash but Knox puts the knees up. Cole takes a headbutt from Mike Knox. Spinebuster by Mike Knox. Tag between Mike Knox and Rhino. Fallaway slam by Rhino puts down Adam Cole. Cole ducks a wild right hand. Tag to Kyle O'Reilly. Adam Cole scoops up Rhino. O'Reilly bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Kyle O'Reilly snap suplexes Rhino HARD to the canvas! And again! A pair of clotheslines follow and...yep, O'Reilly is a HOUSE...EN...FUEGO~! There's a two count on the pin. Rhino walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. O'Reilly tags out to Adam Cole. Adam Cole plants Rhino with an EXPLODAH~! suplex. My Opinion: The psychology was sound, the work was crisp, but a few awkward moments drag it down to about ****1\2.

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.

Mark Briscoe pulls Cole onto the table for a powerbomb, but he uses a backdrop to get out of the predicament. Kyle O'Reilly pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Cole drives a thrust kick into the chest of M. Briscoe. Adam Cole goes to suplex M. Briscoe through a table, but he slips out the backdoor. Spear! J. Briscoe is down! Shelton \ Rhino come running down the aisle with chairs! Cole whips Mark Briscoe into the ropes. Shelton jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Shelton, M. Briscoe, and the chair! Mark Briscoe falls to the canvas. Adam Cole sets Mark Briscoe up in the corner. Panama's Sunrise! Perfectly executed! Cole sets up the table, then grabs Mark Briscoe and uses a belly to belly suplex to break the table and get the victory. We have three sets of grapplers in the ring, as The Briscoe Brothers, Futureshock and Shelton \ Rhino look at each other. Before the inevitable brawl erupts, a host of referees hit the ring to keep them apart.
My Opinion: Great match, it deserves every snowflake its getting. ****1\4

The Match: Brutal Bob suplexes Mack to the canvas and floats over. Sloppy short range spear from Bob Evans. Hooks the leg for a two count. Bob Evans gets taken down out of nowhere! Brutal Bob walks into a high dropkick from Willie Mack, almost losing several teeth in the process. Flying elbow from Willie Mack connects. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tor-NADO DDT from Willie Mack, Brutal Bob got planted! Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Mack uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Willie Mack gets taken down out of nowhere! Suplex into a front slam from Brutal Bob, but the execution was CRAPTASTIC~!. Hooks the leg for a two count. Bob Evans uses something that LOOKS like a reverse suplex. The judges say yes, but barely. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Double leg takedown from Bob Evans sets up a ground and pound in the middle of the ring. What the hell is this, UFC? Bob Evans gets back up now and snap suplexes Mack. Willie Mack avoids a Bob Evans avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Hard back suplex on Brutal Bob. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Springboard dropkick from Willie Mack. Nicely done. Willie Mack moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Chocolate Thunder Bomb. 1....2...3, it's finished. Willie Mack extends his hand to Brutal Bob...but it is ignored!
My Opinion: Not good enough to earn an entire star. 3/4* for you.
Tyler Black vs El Generico.
Match Background: This will be an iron man bout. This match is for the ROH World title. Tyler Black has been ROH World champion since 08 September 2012.
The Match: FIRST FALL: Spin kick by Tyler Black to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. SUPER frankensteiner on Generico, who hit hard and is loopy as a result. Hooks the leg for a two count. Generico reverses a Tyler Black hammerlock. El Generico kicks the leg, knocks Black down, and goes to work on it. Flying elbow from El Generico connects. Hooks the leg for a two count. Vicious kick to the teeth from El Generico. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Second rope flying axe handle, Black goes down. One day, Generico might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Black powers out of a headlock. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Generico is down! Covers for a quick two count. Tiger suplex on Generico. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, dammit. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Hard back suplex on Generico. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Tyler Black strikes Generico. El Generico is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Hard back suplex on Black. Black kicks El Generico in the gut to reverse the momentum. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Generico is down! Pin, but Generico is out just before the three count. Generico counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Jimmy Jacobs comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Black turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by Jacobs! Jimmy Jacobs has left Black in big trouble. Tyler Black gets whipped into the turnbuckles by Generico. Yakuza Kick! 1....2....3. END OF BOUT. Jimmy Jacobs remains in the ring. El Generico pushes the referee away. El Generico puts Jacobs in the corner. El Generico sets up, and hits a BRAINBUUUSTAAAHHH!!!!
My Opinion: Ohh, looky. A **3/4 match!
