ABCNews.com has picked up on the story of The Great Khali recently undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor located on his pituitary gland. The report offers more surgery details, including what caused the tumor, and the severity of the surgical procedure.
The report notes that Khali's acromegaly was found during a WWE Wellness Policy test, and officials, along with Khali, real name Dalip Singh, decided he should go in for surgery. While the procedure was a succes, the report states that Singh could experience future health conditions if the tumor came into contact with optic nerves.
WWE expects Khali to return to the ring within 2-3 months, and company spokesperson Adam Hopkins issued the following statement:
"As part of WWE's ongoing wellness evaluation, we are happy that The Great Khali (Dalip Singh) had successful pituitary surgery, and we look forward to him returning to the ring in the near future."
Although WWE is hopeful Khali can return in 2-3 months, the ABC News report suggests that Khali's wrestling career could be in jeopardy if doctors feel that physical contact to the site of the surgery could lead to internal bleeding.
The report then goes on to ponder if WWE could be at fault for not having Khali go in for the surgical procedure sooner, as a doctor claimed that signs of Khali's acromegaly were obvious just by looking at him. You can read more details, including what a sports lawyer had to say on the subject of WWE possibly being at fault, by clicking on the above link.

Hope he is doing well. I know the former King Kong Mike Khoury in Maryland, he had a qnis reduction because it was too big and no girls would date him.
