A.W tonight insisted he was "done" with WWE with several Twitter Comments posted earlier.
"AWPromotions is no more ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for your support and hate, it's been a great run. Now I get to do me which isn't PG!"
He then thanked his colleagues:
"@titusoneilwwe & @darrenyoungwwe thank you for allowing me to speak on your behalf. You guys are the best and I'm glad to call u my friends!"
He then ripped into the WWE and it's PG system
"Just be normal shut up and be a yes man so you can collect your check and feel like your special.#SELLOUTS!! Let this be a lesson to up and coming talent in the WWE don't try and be great like the Rock or Stone Cold. WWE isn't the same...
Followed By:
"I remember a time when the WWE didn't care about breaking the mold but now everyone is so afraid of their own shadow. #RemeberTheFans "
"I really do hope Linda wins that election because If not then all of this BS has been for nothing. #GoLinda!!"
He thanked his fans by saying:
"Thanks to the fans who showed me support over the whole Kobe thing and to those I upset I apologize again. Remember It's entertainment folks"

In all honesty, I care more about Sofia Cortez being released than A.W being released. Never been a supporter of his, I liked his rape joke (even though it was inappropriate and risky) but that was about it. I suppose I respect the man enough, but I really cant be bothered by him.
Shame for PTP since their push is now derailed because of this whole thing.

PTP shouldn't be affected too much by the release of AW.
Remember, their push had already begun before AW aligned himself with them so just expect them to either pretend AW never existed or have PTP come out and cut a typical heel promo where they say they are above AW and do not need him to strive in the WWE. PTP will still be WWE Tag Team Champions by the end of the year, with or without AW.

Just thought I would note that AW revealed the reason he was released from the WWE. (Got this article from Wrestlezone)
Brian Jossie, known to WWE fans as A.W., spoke to CTPost in Connecticut and revealed why WWE fired him.
He said it was a tweet he made about Linda McMahon that caused his release. The tweet in question was:
"#AWPromotion$ says vote for Linda McMahon!!! The PTP'z support Linda and so should you! #voteordie4Linda"
He went on to say,
"That's how they show support for their employees who want to support Linda. They fire them. That's complete bull(expletive)."
Jossie made the remark on Twitter and then a WWE spokesperson released a statement that "WWE is a non-partisan organization. Superstars as well as employees are free to support any political party or candidate they choose."
The former WWE talent didn't know that making mention of Linda McMahon's campaign was off limits.
"For some reason they don't want to associate [Linda] with anything to do with wrestling because it's in the past. Vince doesn't want any association with her campaign. They told me it's two totally different entities, which I didn't know. I thought I was doing a good thing."
While the comments about Kobe Bryant grabbed attention, he says he could have said worse and nothing would have happened to him because WWE has a history of edgy content
"If I had made a Jerry Sandusky or a Colorado shooting joke, okay, fire me right there,"
"WWE put a convicted rapist in the Hall of Fame (referring to Mike Tyson)."
Jossie made clear his feelings on WWE when he said,
"I don't hate the WWE. I love the company. But the way the politics are with her campaign, it screwed me."
