Backstage News & Notes
On Sat. 8.11.12 the WWE writters had a meeting to discuss past, present and future storyline plans.
On negative notes the feeling is that John Cena shouldn't lose to Kane at the Ambulance and there are also many thinking that The Rock should beat Cena at WrestleMania to build up the Rock/HBK match come next year's WrestleMania.
On positive notes Drew McIntyre's World title reign hasn't disapointed, Jack Swagger is high as WWE Champion and Daniel Bryan's "Finding God" gimmick is doing very well even though the plans have Bryan returning to a heel (or rather evil) gimmick in the next months.
Look for Dolph Ziggler to have a big push within the next months.
Rey Mysterio is set to return in time for Survivor Series as the SS poster revealed last week.
Mason Ryan will have a new rivalry starting after SummerSlam.
On a side note, Goldberg's contract with the WWE hasn't expired yet so don't be surprised if he works on another program soon.
WWE Officials are high about the CM Punk - Brock Lesnar Deathmatch at SummerSlam. However this doesn't look to be the main event of SummerSlam.

- Booker T's new role in the WWE is replacing John Laurinaitis as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations thus keeping him away from announcing.

WWE Superstar JTG has completely healed and will be back in action starting tomorrow night on Raw.
It is expected that there will be a huge angle with Mason Ryan tomorrow night on Raw.
On side note, although he has a championship match at SummerSlam, the Big Show is expected to take some time off in the next few weeks.
